Our Story
Welcome to Arya's Auromaa, a journey born out of resilience and the healing power of aroma. Our story began not as a dream, but as a lifeline during a difficult time. September has always been a challenging month for me. While it's the month my daughter Jayla was born on September 20th, it also marks the loss of my beloved Grandmother to cancer the night before. In September 2022, I faced another heartbreak when my 15-year-old Jack Russell had to be put down. This series of losses left me deeply depressed, struggling to eat, sleep, and function.
Recognizing my need for support, my husband, knowing my love for candles and their calming effect on me, surprised me with an entire Candle Start-Up Kit. This thoughtful gesture sparked the birth of Arya's Auromaa. I immersed myself in learning about different wax types, scents, dyes, additives, jars, and molds, dedicating countless hours to perfecting the craft. In January 2023, I softly launched Arya's Auromaa and it quickly took off.
What began as a therapeutic hobby turned into a passion. I started sharing commercial space with my husband and organized several Pop-Ups throughout 2023, bringing together fellow small businesses from our community. Despite the trials and tribulations life threw our way, we remained steadfast and continued to grow. We expanded our operations and became mobile, seizing every opportunity to showcase our products.
The year culminated in our participation in vendor fairs, holiday parades, and more. Arya's Auromaa began with custom candles, encapsulating our slogan, "Find the aroma that speaks to your aura." We have since expanded our offerings to include crystals and roll-on perfumes, all of which are safe for homes and gentle on the skin.
